• New boss

  Today the new boss has assumed duty, not to mention to ex-boss left us on last Friday. My ex-boss has served the University for over 13 years. I don't know. When she's here, no one likes her. When she's gone, people started realizing how good she is.

  For me, I kinda know that she's good from the beginning. I must admit that no one is perfect. She has her own way to show her "affection" to her colleagues; it is just that people don't feel it.

  My ex-boss is very smart in working things around during adverse conditions. "Working things around" means to avoid touching on the problematic problems directly and to solve it by other subtle ways. This is to temporarily ease the heightened situations and to kinda solve the problem before the affected parties would know. We all know ---- avoiding admin-problems could not really get things properly done because things avoided would somehow "revisit" you in the future. But we are still appreciative of her smart mindset.
